Slipknot are a really cool band they are described as "violently regurgitated
"L.A. neo-metal," death metal, hip-hop, and downtuned screeching horror". They
have taken the world and have only been formed less than five years. They were
formed in the latter half of 1995 but underwent changes to come to the line
up they have today. They have so far only released two albums one that they recorded
and releaed themselves and there is only around 200 copies of it in the
whole world, thats called mate, feed, kill, repeat, their other is a self intitled
album. There are nine members dj Sid, drummer Joey, percussionists Chris and
Sean, bass Paul, guitarists mick and James, sampler craig and vocalist Corey.
They are numbered from 0-8 and wear masks and overalls, Joey said "We did
it because, after being degraded constantly for trying to play music or do something
in Des Moines, it just came to be like we were an anonymous entity. No
one gave a f*ck, no one cared" |
